Do I need a lot of existing data to get started?
Depends on what you’re building. Many automation projects need very little data — they’re about connecting systems and eliminating manual steps. Custom AI models need more. We’ll tell you exactly what’s required before any work starts.
How long does a project take?
A focused automation is typically live in 4 to 6 weeks. A custom AI model with training and deployment usually takes 8 to 16 weeks. You’ll have a confirmed timeline before we begin — not a range that keeps shifting.
Do we have to replace our current software?
No. We build around what you already have. The point is to add capability to your existing operation, not force a migration.
We already use ChatGPT. Is this still relevant?
Yes. Using ChatGPT casually is different from having AI that’s connected to your data, integrated into your workflows, and doing something repeatable and reliable. Most clients who come to us are ready to go further than generic tools allow.
Can AI projects be funded?
Yes — often substantially. SR&ED is a federal tax credit that can return up to 35% of eligible development costs and is claimed on your corporate tax return with no upfront application. NRC IRAP’s AI Assist Stream offers grants of up to 75% of project costs (up to $10M) for companies integrating AI.
